The Rotary Club of East Salem has been approved to receive a district grant of $1000 to help fund the building of an outdoor playground at La Placita. The grant funds will be supplemented by $1000 from the club to purchase the equipment. Club members will build the playground later in the spring.

We had a great turnout for the Market Street cleanup that took place last Saturday. Ten club members and a five-year-old assistant tidied up Market Street and completed the job in a little over an hour.
