It’s time once again for our annual flower basket fundraiser, and this is the time to purchase spring baskets for Mother’s Day, or just to brighten your own yard. Proceeds from this event support scholarships for local youth. This year’s hanging basket supplier is Kamis Nursery, a local nursery located just north of Salem at 7978 Portland Rd. NE, Salem 97305. Customers may purchase tickets from any club member, or contact the club at eastsalemrotary@yahoo.com to obtain tickets. Customers take their purchased tickets to the nursery and select their baskets, which will apply only to 12-inch shiny green or shiny dark brown swirl hanging baskets.
The baskets are selling for $28, which is a special price for our Rotary Club. Customers may pick up baskets any time between April 15 and May 30, but the nursery is closed on Sundays (this information is on the tickets).
