The mayor of Iyo, Japan, along with a group of middle school students, came to visit Salem recently, resuming exchange visits that have taken place in the past. Mayor Takechi was the guest speaker at East Salem Rotary on August 25th, and club member Katsumi “Chuck” Itoh helped translate his remarks. Many thanks to Katsumi for helping organize this exchange, and to some of our Rotarians who hosted middle school students during their stay.
