Four students from Blanchet Catholic School and an East Salem Rotarian joined the director of the Family Resource Center in northeast Salem to clean up the La Casita garden beds for planting. The garden was built by East Salem Rotary members in the summer of 2012. The Family Resource Center provides resources and support for neighborhood families, and the families take part in planting, caring for and harvesting crops in the garden each year.
