The Hallman Elementary Neighborhood Family Council and various community partners sponsored Fun Fridays at Northgate Park this summer, and last Friday several of our club members helped out by handing out free books to children and greeting parents and community members. The event had a Back to School theme, and we even had a few people take club brochures and sign up to learn more about possibly joining our club! Thanks to Maureen Casey for organizing our participation, and to Pat and Ted Mack, Rhonda Prodzinski, Evan Sorce and Catherine Carlson for their help at the event. This is just one of many ways we are supporting our east Salem community.
