This project, sponsored by the former Salem Sunrise Rotary Club, was organized by Rhonda Prodzinski, Bob Thomas, and Evan Sorce. As of May 8th, 45 new bicycle helmets and 5 refurbished bikes have been distributed to children in the Grant and Highland school communities. A total of 50 new helmets and 5 bikes will be provided through this grant project. A big thank you to Kirk Seyfert, director of the Northwest Hub, and Veronica Franco, Community Resource Coordinator at Highland Elementary for their work on the project.
