We had plenty of help for our annual cleanup of the La Casita community garden last week. Built by East Salem Rotary in 2012, we have helped maintain this garden over the years, adding an irrigation system and repairing wood planter beds as needed. Our volunteers included three students from Blanchet and a parent, as well as four East Salem Rotarians. The garden is now ready for spring planting by the neighborhood families served by La Casita.
