East Salem Rotary Supports Area Children

East Salem Rotarians volunteered again this year for The Fostering Hope Initiative, which recently hosted a holiday event with pop-up shopping and gift wrapping for local families in need. For many of these children, the gift from the event will be the only one they will have under their tree. Parents received gifts, stocking stuffers, and books for 105 children, while student volunteers from Blanchet helped the children make gingerbread house ornaments and have their pictures taken with Santa.

An additional 145 children will have gifts delivered to them by the Fostering Hope Initiative Community Health Workers before Christmas. East Salem Rotary stepped up to help provide some of these gifts and to help parents and children wrap gifts. A very big thank you to our club members and friends who helped at this event, and to all our members who made donations!
