The Rotary Club of East Salem has built and installed eleven Little Free Libraries in the east Salem area. Club members have adopted each of these libraries and refill them with books on a regular basis. These libraries, which are heavily used, help build literacy skills that enable children to be ready for kindergarten, graduate from high school, and be successful throughout life. Our club will be holding a Book Drive in partnership with the Book Bin in Salem from August 26th to September 23rd. Community members may purchase books in English or Spanish from a designated section at the Book Bin, and those books will be used to fill our very busy libraries. We hope to have many new books donated for our libraries, as we are always in need of books!
