A crew from East Salem Rotary spent Saturday morning clearing a trail, at the Adaptive Riding Institute in Southeast Salem, of overgrown brush.
Earlier this year, the club heard about the programs of the Adaptive Riding Institute (a rehabilitation program for people with a variety of disabilities) at one of it’s weekly club meetings. It was decided that this was a non-profit the club would like to partner with this year in a hands-on community service project.
Once the trail is completed, it will be used by clients of ARI for some horseback riding adventures.
