East Salem Rotary held its first auction fundraiser on May 17th, and the event was a big success! The festivities took place at Scenic Valley Vineyard, and we had a great turnout. Rotarians, friends and families enjoyed delicious food from Elegant Catering, and wine and beer was provided by Scenic Valley Vineyard. Close to 30 gift baskets and other items were offered during the silent auction, which were donated by East Salem Rotarians, local businesses and friends. We’d like to thank these local businesses for their donations: Scenic Valley Farms, Suburban Garbage, the Kroc Center, Mavericks League, Zak Stone Photography, Blanchet Catholic School, Northern Lights, Chuck E. Cheese, Be Well Esthetics, Enchanted Forest, The REC, Santiam Excursions, Powerland Heritage Park and Queen of Peace School. We also held a raffle for two Rivalry baskets – one for the Beavers and one for the Ducks, as well as two beautiful flower baskets from Kamis Nursery. This was a great event and a lot of fun!
