We had great volunteers to help clean up the La Casita Community Garden in preparation for planting. Garden workers included three students from Blanchet Catholic School and three East Salem Rotarians, as well as some family members. East Salem Rotary built the garden at La Casita in 2012, and the families served by the La Casita program are good stewards of the garden, growing fresh vegetables and herbs every year. Thank you to all of our volunteers! Also, a big thank you to Bark Boys, who donated 1 1/2 yards of wood chips to spread around the garden beds.
