Our recent annual book drive for our 12 little libraries was a huge success thanks to the efforts of our Rotarians and our partner the Book Bin. Our goal of 600 books was far surpassed, with a grand total of 819 books donated during the August/September event! We know our ongoing efforts to increase children’s literacy in the east Salem area will help our local students become skilled & avid readers. A big thank you to East Salem Rotarians and the Book Bin for supporting children’s literacy in east Salem! These books will support our little libraries for about 2 months, as our libraries are well used by local families.
