After a break of a few years, East Salem Rotary once again held a fundraiser on Palm Sunday at the Willamette Lutheran Retirement Community. This was a great opportunity for Rotarians to visit with residents and guests and to help make this a fun event for all. Rotarians were joined by 9 students from Chemawa Indian School, 3 students from Blanchet Catholic School, and our exchange student from Argentina in helping with a variety of tasks: serving food and drinks, setting and clearing tables, washing dishes, and much more. It was a fun event and we had a great turnout for such a worthwhile cause. Many thanks to Raeann, Missy and several other staff members who helped us with this event.
