East Salem Rotarians, as well as students from Blanchet Catholic School and Chemawa Indian School, helped out at the Fostering Hope annual Holiday Pop-Up Shop in December. At least 118 children took part in the event, getting a photo with Santa and decorating a frame to give the photo to their parents. Meanwhile, volunteers helped parents select a gift for each of their children for Christmas, and wrap it before leaving. Gifts were generously donated by East Salem Rotarians, community members, and Catholic Community Services staff.
