Thanks to help from club member and veteran Ken Morin, East Salem Rotary is participating in fundraising for the Vietnam War Memorial, which will be built on the Oregon State Capitol grounds in the next couple of years. Ken has collection bags for bottles and cans, along with labels for the bags, for club members to take home. The filled bags may be turned in to any bottle return site (there is one on Lancaster Drive, one on north Commercial Street, and one on south Commercial Street). This will be an ongoing effort to help with this worthwhile project.
