On Saturday, August 24th, eight East Salem Rotary Club members gathered at La Placita to spread bark chips, assemble playground equipment and a sandbox, and build a wooden bench. A once bare space is now full of fun play equipment and a child-size picnic table for young children to enjoy and have fun. Thanks to those members who spent a Saturday morning making La Placita a little more inviting and educational for the neighborhood children who visit the center.
