Several East Salem Rotary Club members took part in the annual Rotary dictionary labeling party at the end of August. They added labels and packaged the dictionaries to be distributed to area fourth graders. The dictionary distribution is a project of area Rotary clubs in Salem and the Stayton area that focuses on literacy, and students at public and private schools receive their very own dictionaries.
Check out the photos of our club members hard at work on the hottest day of the summer. Dictionaries are being presented to fourth graders in local schools during the month of September, and the students are learning a little about Rotary and how it is helping communities locally and around the world.
